A: Yes. Our staff members are familiar with the plants that are indigenous to Central North Carolina and the conditions that they require.

Q: How often do I need to fertilize my plants?

A: We can recommend how frequently you should fertilize your plants and can even recommend the type of fertilizer to use.

Q: How often should I water my plants?

A: Each plant type has unique watering needs, and we would be happy to recommend how often to water each type of plant that you have.

Q: How many plants should I purchase based on the size of my garden?

A: We would be happy to suggest the amount of flowers based on the size of your garden.

Q: Can you suggest plants for me to purchase for my yard that retains plenty or scarce amounts of water?

A: Of course. We can tell you what types of plants tolerate moist and dry areas.

Q: When is it a good time to plant?

A: After May 1st. Peppers and eggplant need to be planted when the temperature at night is above 55 degrees.   

Q: Do annual flowers come back each year?

A: No, they don't usually come back. However, they may drop seeds that will grow in the spring.

Q: Do perennials come back each year?

A: Yes, they are planted and established which means you don't have to plant them each year.

Q: Can you help me find seasonal plants?

A: Yes! Our greenhouse will help you add to your garden or home each season as we carry a variety of seasonal plants to help add color and uniqueness to your home.
